Dimobi Childrens Disability Trust works tirelessly to support the needs of children with disabilities.
At Dimobi Children Disability Trust, our arts and craft events present another perfect activity and opportunity for the young people who come to us. At our arts and craft our team of trustees, management, staff, and volunteers ensure that we create such a safe fun environment conducive for their creativity to flow and that is especially good for their imaginations, and to have fun.
The Forum is facilitated by parents with children with special and complex needs who openly share their lived and living experiences so that, others can learn from them.
Carers represented in the Forum include parents, foster and adoptive parents, grandparents, adult siblings, aunts and uncles.
Would you like to help us? Can you spare some time? We always have projects on the go which need enthusiastic helpers. Volunteer with Dimobi and make a real difference to childrens’ lives.
You could offer your time – most of our volunteers commit approximately 4 hours a week to support a family. Others may help in the office, or with fundraising.
Our Values
The Dimobi Parents Forum meets every Tuesday and includes forum meetings with guest speakers from, workshops and informal, parent only sessions. 10.30 am to 1:00 pm
Often in our Parents’ Forum various stakeholders are invited to the meeting for shared learning and lessons learnt through our interactive peer support groups.
We need your help
If you have a particular skill you would like to offer, such as gardening, painting, decorating, or DIY, we may need your assistance on an occasional basis. Don’t have the time to volunteer? We are always very grateful to receive financial support.
